VERNON, TX - Coach Talley reached a career milestone of 100 wins last night as the Chaps swept Clarendon.

Vernon College head softball coach Brittanie Talley captured her 100th career win to become the 2nd all-time winningest coach in Vernon softball softball history as the Chaps claimed an 11-7 decision against Clarendon on Wednesday afternoon (Feburary 25) at the Bulldogs Field.

Talley improved to 100-95 over her 4.5 (Cut short 2020 Covid Season) years as a collegiate head coach. She has spent the last 4.5 seasons at the helm of the Chaparral program and ranks as the 2nd winningest coach in Vernon Athletics history.

The Chaps struck early and often in the 11-7 decision. Errors kept the Bulldogs in the game but thats bats staid hot drove them to victory.
